Apple's New iPhone SE Offers Most of the Features at a Fraction of the Price
Apple Inc. unveiled the new iPhone SE, its first low-cost smartphone in four years, seeking to boost sales while consumers wait for the launch of new high-end models with 5G later this year. To get to the lower cost, Apple is using an iPhone 8 design that debuted in 2017 along with a less advanced camera system, a smaller and older display and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner instead of 3-D facial recognition. The new model comes in black, white or red with storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB, Cupertino, California-based Apple said on Wednesday. While many of the device's specifications have been surpassed by newer technology at this point, the iPhone SE does use the same A13 processor as the latest flagship iPhone. This also gives Apple a more competitive model in countries such as India that are flooded with cheaper Android phones.

iPhone 11: Apple launches new Pro smartphones with better cameras
Apple has launched its latest iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max featuring new cameras, improved screens, faster processors and longer battery life. Announced at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California on Thursday, the iPhone 11 series of smartphones carries on where the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR left off last year. The new iPhones feature similar designs and screen sizes with slim bezels and the Face ID notch at the top, which was first introduced in 2017 with the iPhone X. A variety of new colours will also be available, with a new matt finish on the back of the iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone Pro will be available in two sizes, with either a 5.8-inch (147mm) or 6.5-inch (165mm) screen. The improved Super Retina XDR OLED displays have a higher resolution, are brighter and have better colour, but are more efficient on battery.

WIRED's Favorite Gear of 2018: iPhone XR, Google Home Hub, and More
Every trip around the sun, we prod, poke, and test hundreds of products here at WIRED. Most of them are just fine. Not boring--few things are truly boring these days. But a lot of what we see doesn't register more than a notch or two on the excite-o-meter. However, every so often, we get a product in our hands that clearly stands out, either by pushing its category forward with some new innovation, or perfecting an established and already noteworthy design.
iPhone XR review: Apple's big-bezelled battery king
The iPhone XR looks to offer most of what made the iPhone XS a knockout for £250 less – but with a colourful body and a slightly larger screen is this the iPhone to buy? With the iPhone XS and XS Max starting at £999 and £1,099 respectively, Apple has room to shoehorn a slightly lower cost, but still expensive, model in underneath. The iPhone XR is that model, but with a slightly larger screen than the 5.8in iPhone XS that's also a little smaller than the 6.5in iPhone XS Max, it offers something subtly different too. The 6.1in LCD is colourful and relatively crisp with excellent viewing angles, but just not quite as brilliant as the OLED displays on the top iPhones or rivals of a similar price. The bezels are also noticeably larger than the other iPhones, making it look a little like an iPhone XS permanently in a case.

The Morning After: Would you pay for an Android app subscription?
As our British readers struggle with daylight savings ("struggle" an extra hour in bed), we saw China's first private satellite launch not go as planned, the original Wii remote prototype goes to auction and you can control your Roku device through Google's voice assistant. Hey Google, save me the trouble of finding the remote. Roku's Google Assistant control is here. If you're using a TV or player running at least Roku OS 8.1, you can link the Google Home app to your Roku account and control core functions using only voice and an "on Roku" suffix. You can launch channels, search for shows and control playback on most devices, while TV owners can turn on the set, adjust volume or switch inputs.
The Morning After: Tesla's new Autopilot feature rolls out
Tesla owners with Autopilot equipped may have a new update to check out -- after making sure their car is secure wherever it's parked. We'll also take a look back at several reviews this week for the iPhone XR, Galaxy Book 2, Google Home Hub and Red Dead Redemption 2. Beta test the driving assist.Tesla's'Navigate on Autopilot' rolls out across North America When Tesla rolled out its 9.0 software to vehicles earlier this month, it held back one feature for some additional testing: Navigate on Autopilot. CEO Elon Musk tweeted that a beta test of the feature would begin rolling out Friday night. In a move that Musk has previously described as a time when "we will begin to enable full self-driving features," it gives more control over to the car from highway on-ramp to off-ramp. Drivers will need to enable the feature in their Autopilot menu, and it has four settings for speed based lane changes (Disabled, Mild, Average, or Mad Max) that the car will perform after suggesting a move to the driver and receiving confirmation.
Using AI To Build Your Stock Portfolio
With the release of the new iPhone XS and the more popular XS Max, Apple may be on the verge of it's highest grossing iPhone release yet. Not to mention being days away from the release of the highly anticipated, and more affordable iPhone XR. The release of the iPhone XR, which is a more affordable alternative to the only slightly more premium model, at still a fairly large price point, will surely become the most popular among the larger scale of consumer. This could very well be their most profitable model to date.
Apple iPhone XS Review: Excess at its Best
Last year's iPhone X was a groundbreaking device, in part due to the removal of what made the iPhone so iconic. Gone was the fingerprint-scanning home button, and in its place was an aesthetically controversial "notch" to make room for the Face ID security (and Animoji) functionality. It was also groundbreaking in terms of price. It may have debuted alongside the $699-and-up iPhone 8, but it was the first thousand-dollar smartphone from Apple, a price a surprisingly high number of people were able to stomach for the sake of having the coolest phone on the block. With the new iPhone XS and XS Max, Apple is trying to tell us something: like it or not, this is the future of the iPhone.

Apple shows off three new iPhones and smartwatch to detect heart problems
Apple has launched a trio of iPhones and upgraded smartwatches that can detect heart problems at its annual product launch event in Cupertino on Wednesday. The tech company unveiled a new iteration of the flagship iPhone X with a 5.8in screen dubbed the iPhone XS – pronounced "ten S" rather than "excess" as well as the iPhone XS Max, which comes with a larger 6.5in screen. Both feature an upgraded version of the iPhone X's dual lens camera – one of the device's best features – which allows for better portraits and higher-quality videos even in low light. They also come with Face ID facial recognition for unlocking the device and a richer display. The company is also launching a lower-cost 6.1inch version, the iPhone XR.
